Kristin Roskifte is a Norwegian illustrator and picture book author. She has made eight children’s books exploring topics like queueing, crowds, surreal dream homes and animals with body issues. Most of all she is inspired by the differences and similarities between human beings. Her last book, Everybody Counts contains 2768 individually drawn people and is being translated to more than 30 languages. The book was translated by Sigrún Eldjárn into Icelandic in 2020. It won the prestigious Nordic Council Children and Young People’s Literature Prize 2019.
