Festival Program


The Moorland festival takes place for the seventh time between the 9th and 12th of October 2014 in the Nordic house in Reykjavik. This year the festival has a very special guest, an adventure by definition, the peacock and goes in 2014 by the name Peacock in the Moorland. This colorful bird is now on a journey gathering together authors and illustrators from all over the world who he will bring to the Nordic house in October to meet fans and admirers of all ages. The festival this fall is the biggest festival since the start and over 30 authors and artist are joining us to read and teach storytelling and illustrating and just meet up and chat about children’s literature. The festival is open for everyone and admission is free of charge.
